Registration for PJP's Summer Camps will begin on April 6th. These Academic, Athletic and Art Camps will take place at PJP from June 16 through July 18. Camps for 5th through 9th graders will include: Boys' Basketball (June 16-20), Girls' Basketball (June 23-27), Baseball (June 23-27), Softball (July 14-18), Boys' Lacrosse (July 14-18), Boys' and Girls' Tennis (June 16-20), Boys' and Girls' Soccer (June 16-20), Track and Field (June 23-27 and July 7-11), Cheerleading (June 30 - July 3), Football (July 7-11), Creative Writing (June 16-20), Public Speaking (June 23-27), Art (June 16-20, June 30-July 3, July 7-11), Physics of Superheroes (June 16-20), Photography (June 23-27), and Negotiating the College Process for Rising Seniors (June 16-20 - Free of Charge). Additionally, camps have been designed for children in Kindergarten - 4th grade! PJP will offer younger campers: Art (June 16-20, June 30-July 3, July 7-11), PeeWee Cheerleading (June 30 - July 3) and two Disney Princess Camps for ages 4 through 8 (July 7-11 and July 14-18). PJP is thrilled to announce and recognize FIVE eighth grade students who were recently named as Neumann Scholars. Each of these students has made the decision to attend Pope John Paul II High School! The Neumann Scholars are awarded four-year-scholarships from the Connelly Foundation to attend the archdiocesan high school of their choice. The local Neumann Scholars are: Michael Granito, Holy Family School; Molly Green, Holy Cross Regional School; Susannah McHugh, St. Mary School; Dylan Mintzer, Blessed Teresa of Calcutta School; Michael Pirrall, St. Mary School. These students, their families, school, and parish communities have MUCH to be proud of. PJP shares their enthusiasm and pride! We are so pleased they have chosen to attend our excellent high school. Way to go, Michael, Molly, Susannah, Dylan, and Michael! You are going to shine at PJP!

We are so proud of our excellent student musicians!

Attention ALL new and current PJP Parents! The 2014-2015 Financial Aid Application is now available. For the first time ever, we encourage ALL families to complete this application online. Please visit www.psas.org/blocs/. You may also click the link to the right. Please note that the income guidelines for EITC grants have changed, and more families may qualify this year. The income guidelines are listed on the website. Financial Aid Grants will not be made to any family who has not completed this application.
Many congratulations to the Pope John Paul II High School seniors who have been named Commended Students in the 2014 National Merit Scholarship Program. Rohan Basuthakur, Jacquelyn Bowes, Timothy B. Kline and Daniel A. Parker have much to be proud of! Commended Students placed among the top five percent of more than 1.5 million students who entered the 2014 competition. Rohan, Jackie, Tim and Dan, you make PJP proud! As the National Merit Scholarship Program states, "These students represent a valuable national resource; recognizing their accomplishments, as well as the key role their schools play in their academic development, is vital to the advancement of educational excellence in our nation."
PJP warmly invites 8th graders and high school students considering a potential transfer to schedule a Shadow Day at PJP. Shadow Days give students an opportunity to spend the day in the PJP classrooms to gain a better understanding of what life is like on a typical day at Pope John Paul II High School.
