School Nurse is available Monday-Friday throughout the school day.

Please update the nurses’ office of any change in your student’s health including any injuries, medical treatments, new medications, or immunizations.
Up-to-date information is essential in an emergency situation.
Parents/Guardians, please complete the Health Emergency Form for their students at the beginning of each school year. The nurses refer to this form every time that your student visits the nurses’ office. This form indicates your permission for students to receive: Tylenol, Ibuprofen (Advil/Motrin), Chloraseptic, Tums, and Benadryl in the event of an allergic reaction.

School Immunization Requirements
Pennsylvania School Immunization Requirements MUST be met or the student will NOT be allowed to attend school. If you are unsure, please check with your pediatrician.
Only medical exemptions for immunizations are allowed. Those students who have a medical exemption signed by an MD or DO will be accepted. Per Archdiocesan rule, religious or moral exemptions are no longer accepted.

If your child has an exemption, he/she could possibly be excluded in the event of an outbreak of a vaccine-preventable disease.
Concussion Policy
PJP has developed a Concussion Policy through the collaboration of athletics, nursing, administration, and guidance. It is essential that together we are supportive in the recovery process for the health and well-being of our students.
