From Our President

Dear Pope John Paul II High School Community,

It is an incredible honor to serve as President of Pope John Paul II High School and to return to a community that has always held a special place in my heart.

From the moment I walked back through the doors of PJP, I was reminded that what makes this school special is not simply its programs, facilities, or accomplishments. It is our people. Our students bring tremendous energy and promise. Our teachers and staff care deeply about their success. Our families, alumni, Board members, parishes, and friends believe in our mission and in the young people entrusted to our care.

At PJP, education is about far more than preparing students for college and careers. Rooted in our Catholic faith, we are called to educate and form the whole person. We want every student to feel known, supported, and challenged to discover the gifts God has given them and develop the confidence, knowledge, and character to share those gifts with others.

As I begin my tenure, our work will be guided by three principles that reflect who we are and who we continually strive to become: Faith, Service, and Excellence. Faith grounds us and guides the choices we make. Service teaches us to look beyond ourselves and use our gifts for the good of others. Excellence calls each of us to pursue our very best, whether in the classroom, on the stage, on the field, in our faith lives, or in service to our community.

These principles are more than words. They should be experienced in the way we teach, lead, welcome, encourage, and care for one another each day.

PJP has a strong foundation and a proud legacy. As we look to the future, we will honor all that has brought us to this moment while continuing to ask what more is possible for our students and our school. We will strengthen our academic programs, expand opportunities for students, support our teachers and staff, deepen our relationships with families and parishes, and share the story of PJP with the broader community.

I believe leadership begins with listening, building relationships, and bringing people together around a shared purpose. I look forward to learning from our students, families, teachers, staff, alumni, and friends and working collaboratively to shape the next chapter of PJP.

Whether you are a current family, a prospective student, an alumnus, or a friend of the school, I invite you to visit our campus and experience the spirit of this remarkable community.

I am deeply grateful for the opportunity to serve PJP and excited about all that we will accomplish together.
