Pope John Paul High School has had a positive impacts on our daughters academically, spirtually, and personally. The teachers and administration genuinely care and support the students so that they may succeed both in and out of the classroom. There is a strong sense of community that focuses on serving others and developing the leadership skills necessary to succeed in the future. It is a special place that fosters growth while reinforcing the same Christian values we've instilled at home. We could not be happier with our decision to send our children to PJP!
Mr. and Mrs. GlennonPeter'19 (Transfer Student)
PJP offers the perfect balance of academic challenge, opportunity to participate and excel athletically and spiritually, and is perfectly sized. PJP encourages students to reach and expand their horizons through diverse course offerings and endless extracurricular activities while being guided by Catholic values. Our son transferred into his junior year, and we immediately experienced all the benefits PJP has to offer. The supportive environment encouraged him to lead a service project for a homeless shelter, start a stock market club, try out broadcasting on PSPN radio, and gain exposure to new subjects, such as business law and criminal justice. We are a proud to be part of supporting such a great Panther community.

At the beginning we chose PJP for its state-of-the-art technology, education, building and programs. Little did we know it would become part of our family. Each one of my children have had a wonderful experience at PJP, from the amazing drama program, the football team, cheerleading squad, track, many great clubs and the spectacular education! Even our son-in-law is also the assistant basketball coach at PJP. PJPII without question is the best high school in the Philadelphia Archdiocese! Panther pride!! Our school, our pride!!

When you are immediately greeted by the beautiful statue of Pope John Paul II, you will realize that this community is more than just a building; it is a safe and caring home for your children. This is why we chose PJP! Our children are taught and influenced by Christian role models who encourage them to follow the words of St. John Paul II: “Be not afraid to live the splendor of truth and live the gospel of life.” Our children have been accepted into their firstchoice colleges, participate in athletics, shows, and a variety of organizations, and they are succeeding! And we know this to be true because of the incredible education they have received and are receiving. We are so blessed—thank you, PJP!

Investing in our children's faith, education and character is a top priority for our family. After evaluating our options, we knew PJP shared the same values as our family and would be a second home for our children for years to come.

After significant research and prayerful consideration, it was our interaction with the Pope John Paul II “family” that assured me that I had found the place where we belong. I was seeking an academic environment of excellence, where my daughters can all become the “best versions of themselves.” Having grown up in a family where we not only professed, but actually tried to “live” Catholicism, I sought long and hard for the pathway that would lead my children to that same place.
