This page will serve as a central resource for the Pope John Paul II High School community members. Real-time updates, the status of ongoing decisions, and helpful resources will be posted here. The school will also proactively email (and possibly text/call) parents and students regarding any significant changes to regular school operations that would directly impact them throughout the coming days and weeks.

Notifying School of Travel
A student or staff member who has been to China, Iran, Italy, Japan or South Korea within the past two weeks should be excluded from school for 14 days, beginning the day they departed that country. PJP will work on methods to provide educational support for children who are at home for these weeks, so that they do not fall behind. These students or staff members should to stay at home and limit contact with anyone outside the home.
Healthy members of a household who did not travel, but where someone else from that household returned from China, Iran, Italy, Japan, or South Korea, are not required to stay away from school as long as all members of that household are healthy (i.e., no new respiratory symptoms and no fever).
Students and staff members who have visited China, Iran, Italy, Japan or South Korea within the past two weeks should be advised to call their doctors for instructions if they have fever with either cough or shortness of breath.
