Note: the following criteria are for consideration in evaluating the nominees, they are not necessarily requirements.
Alumni who have been a role model for current Pope John Paul II High School students.
Alumni who have distinguished themselves and/or shown great leadership at the local, state, national, and/or International level through their chosen careers or vocations.
Alumni who have made distinguished contributions to society through their work or donation of time,
treasure, or talent.
ACADEMIC CAREER ACOMPLISHMENTS
A respected leader in his/her profession (involved in career-related activities).
National Merit Scholar and has demonstrated unique accomplishments within the area of their academic talents.
Recognized academic achievements at Pope John Paul II High School or a Legacy School and at the college or university levels.
A recognized name in the performing arts or contributor to the promotion of cultural activities.
Recognized athletic accomplishments while a student at Pope John Paul II High School or a Legacy School (state winner, All-State, All-American).
Recognized athletic accomplishments at the college or university levels (national champion, all-Conference, All-American).
Special professional or amateur achievements (professional athlete, national competitor, Olympic
AUTHENTICITY PUBLIC SERVICE/MILITARYSERVICE
Recognized for Leadership in Business, Community, Faith or Service
Recognized as having had a distinguished military career or accomplishments in the line of duty.
Recognized accomplishments in serving in public service.
An individual will become eligible for induction into the Legacy Hall of Fame after five(5) years following graduation.
A team may be eligible for nomination into the Legacy Hall of Fame after five (5) years.
A teacher, coach, or administrator may be eligible for nomination after being retired from their position for at least three (3) years.
Under unique circumstances, the Legacy Hall of Fame Committee has the ability to waive the number of years requirement and/or graduation requirement with a 2/3 majority vote of the committee.
