PJP NAMES NEW BOYS HEAD LACROSSE COACH
Congratulations to Matthew Bildstein, who has been named the PJP Boys Lacrosse Coach!
Coach Bildstein is 2012 graduate of PJP and loves devoting his time and passion to his high school and our fine student-athletes.
Coach Bildstein's lacrosse background spans 6 years of playing experience, 4 of which he was a starter at the High School level. Bildstein's impressive career playing and leadership credentials include:
1st team All-PAC midfield Senior season
3-year Team MVP
47 goals and 24 assists senior season statistics
81 goals and 47 assists career statistics
8 years as an assistant football coach here at PJP (2012-present)
2 years as Freshman Boys Basketball Head Coach (2016-2017)
"I have built many relationships with current and former student-athletes and plan to continue building these special bonds," said Coach Bildstein. "I love working with and teaching these student-athletes here at Pope John Paul lessons that they can carry with them the rest of their lives. My biggest goal from day 1 is to build a successful lacrosse program brick by brick and competing at our highest level in the classroom, in the community and on the playing field."
