Each year, the Connelly Foundation recognizes a select number of 8th grade students across the Archdiocese of Philadelphia with a prestigious honor named after St. John Neumann, whose Feast Day was January 5. The Neumann Scholarship is a four-year, full-tuition high school scholarship that recipients may apply to any of the 17 Archdiocesan high schools. The scholarship is offered only to the students with the top scores on the annual Neumann Scholarship Test. Neumann Scholarships are limited by county, and with three diocesan high schools in Montgomery County, the highest number of Neumann Scholars in the same class to choose PJP has been five to date (PJP classes of 2014 and 2018).
PJP is thrilled to announce that we will welcome a record setting SIX Neumann Scholars to our Class of 2021!
This is a great honor for these students, their families, their teachers, their parishes, and Pope John Paul II High School. Congratulations, Tommy, Laura, Danny, Meredith, Bella, and Jason!
