Congratulations to Olivia DiPrinzio ‘20 (Corpus Christi Parish, Upper Gwynedd) who has been named a National Merit Scholarship Semifinalist!
The National Merit® Scholarship Program is an academic competition for recognition and scholarships that began in 1955. High school students enter the National Merit Program by taking the Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (PSAT/NMSQT®) — a test which serves as an initial screen of approximately 1.6 million entrants each year— and by meeting published program entry and participation requirements. Olivia is among one of the nation’s 16,000 out of 50,000 high scorers to be named a semifinalist.
Olivia is a member of Corpus Christi Parish, Upper Gwynedd. She attended Corpus Christi Parish Elementary School before coming to PJP in her freshmen year. Olivia is Vice-President of Service for the National Honor Society, involved in Rhapsodies, the Spring Musical, and Liturgical Music. She is passionate about PJP’s annual PANTHERON and serves as Vice-President of the organizing committee. Olivia also participates in Reading Olympics and formerly Matheletes.
Congratulations to not only Olivia, but to her parents and teachers! Olivia joins PJP’s five former semifinalists who have gone on to be named finalists and twenty-two commended scholars in PJP’s ten year history! We are so proud of you!
