New Boys' Lacrosse Helmets Help Kick Off Spring Sports Season in Style

With the start of the spring sports season, PJP has provided new helmets for the boys' lacrosse team. "Investing in the safety of PJP students is a top priority of the school," said President Jason Bozzone, "The team was in need of new gear, and we are pleased to provide these top-of-the-line helmets as they begin a new season with Coach Blase Cesarone."

According to Athletic Director Nicole McMullen, the Athletic Department will soon be asking the boys on the team for their input on the decals that will go on the helmets. “Our lacrosse players are excited to get started with the new coaching staff. We hope that this will be a significant building year for the team both on and off the field.”

Best wishes to our lacrosse players and all of the 250 PJP student athletes as they make an impact in their classrooms and on our athletic fields this spring!

Spring Sports Season Brings Baseball and Softball Field Improvements

Spring is in the air! The first day of PJP Spring Sports tryouts will be this Monday, March 6, 2017. In anticipation of baseball and softball seasons, PJP has hired an outside contractor to prepare the fields for the start of the season.

President Bozzone said, "Through my listening campaign this fall and first Town Hall Meeting, I heard what PJP parents were telling me. It was clear to me that it is essential to our school families that PJP invest in the entire facility, including our athletic fields and auditorium. The contractor we hired to work on our baseball and softball fields has experience working with fields at Perkiomen Valley School District and the Reading Phillies. I surveyed the work as it was being done, and I am pleased that our fields will reflect a solid return on investment for our PJP student athletes and their families."
