Athletics

Athletics promote teambuilding and healthy competition for students. By participating in sports, students learn the importance of personal fitness, hard work and good sportsmanship.

Kennedy-Kenrick and St. Pius X both had rich sports histories, and Pope John Paul II High School will, no doubt, continue that tradition. The new school will join the Pioneer Athletic Conference (PAC 10) in 2010 and will offer students state-of-the-art facilities where they can practice and compete, such as a 1,000-seat gymnasium, auxiliary gymnasium, fitness center, and acres of competition-level playing fields.
